After writing the part 2 of this series, I remembered something I had forgotten that could make or mar all your efforts. It is not often talked about in many circles. However, since I am here to tell you all you need to start getting 100,000 high quality visitors monthly within your first 12 months, I think I should leave no stone unturned.
You must have heard that you should never use free hosting services/domain names if you intend to make money online. One of the reasons is that many of those places house sites of questionable characters.
If you use them, other users are seen as your roommates by the search engines. Now, if the majority of them have poor spammy pages, the search engines put a red flag on you, too.
After all, you'll feel uneasy if you discovered that five of a new employee's house mates are convicted felons. A bad neighborhood affects your site in the same way.
So, I know you're not using any of those free services? But does your web host ensure that you only have worthy neighbors? I discovered this: That search engines take note of disapproved practices and if a high number of such originate from an IP address, it just puts up a red flag on that IP address.
Don't host your site in a red light district. You'll get the wrong reputation. And online, your reputation often matters more than your character. So research your web host thoroughly before putting your hard work on the line.
