Traffic generation lesson 2 what is content
By: Ming Chern Foo

As promised in the previous article, I?ll be talking about content and the importance of it to our survival as an internet marketer.

Content is the driving force of the entire internet. The only reason why we repeatedly visit a website is because of its relevant content. Thus we want to provide fresh and consistent content to our visitors. On top of this, it is extremely important to provide high quality and unique content.

As mentioned in my previous email, we want to treat our visitors as long-lost friends, not another statistics. By providing the visitors what they want and more, we can be assured of their recurring visits.

To re-iterate my point, we need to provide content of
? High Quality
? Unique
? Recurring
? Consistent
? Useful to your visitors

We will be creating websites that are a powerhouse of information, well-established and of high quality to the visitors. By this method, we?ll automatically end up with free one-way links as people will be talking about how great your website is and will refer it to their friends. I?m sure you can relate to that.

So how often do we create content for our websites? If it?s a blog, preferably 1-2 posts per day. It need not be 10,000 pages, something like 3-5 paragraphs would be fantastic.

You would also need to create articles pertaining to your niche market. For a start, create 1 article per week. Of course, the more articles you create, the better, but remember that it must be Useful, High Quality and Unique.

I hope that?s some fundamental knowledge that?s sufficient for you to digest over the next few days. As a homework, practice to write some articles pertaining to your niche market, or perhaps some posts to your blog.

In my next article, I would be talking about keyword research and why it is the most important thing in the entire internet marketing arena.

Stay tuned!
